What a hidden GEM! Had my daughter's birthday party here with 14 of her friends. Tanja, the owner, was so great to work with and organized the most lovely painting party for an active group of 7 year old's! She offers a wide array of crafting and painting activities for both adults and children. I can't wait to come back for a mom's night out! - Helen

This shop is so quaint and welcoming. Unique, beautiful and intersting items for sale. My friend and I spent over an hour exploring. The shop owner Tanya was so pleasant. WOODWORK CLASSES WITH DOUG - It's spring, and we have moved our woodwork classes outdoor, weather permitting. Ideal for groups, couples, family fun, girl/boy scouts, homeschooling, etc. We offer 2 days (3 hours) or 4 days (4 hours) workshops for $50 per hour plus a one-time $10 material cost. One day 1 or 1.5-hours sessions can be arranged as well for $60 per hour plus $10 material cost.

• Tuesdays or Thursdays 9.30-10.30 AM. For adults, kids 8+ or a combination. More time options coming in June. Ask for our Mini Summer Camps!

INTRO TO SHINRIN-YOKU AND ART - Shinrin-Yoku, also known as forest bathing, is a unique event and mindfulness practice that invites the participants to immerse themselves in all of the gifts of nature. Our time together will include an intention led walk from the BAYOU to a nearby location nestled in trees and streams. Our time in nature will conclude with a tea ceremony followed by a nature-based craft led by Tanja.

• Saturday June 8 at 10 AM-12 PM - max 8 adult only participants $50 (2 hours)

JUNE 8 SHINRIN-YOKU & NATURE BASED CRAFT

Intro to Shinrin-Yoku and Art. Shinrin-Yoku, also known as forest bathing, is a mindfulness practice that invites the participants to immerse themselves in all of the gifts of nature. Our time together will include an intention led walk from the Bayou to a nearby location nestled in trees and streams.

Crystal will guide the walk and provide opportunities for observation and mindfulness activities utilizing all of our senses. The terrain is considered easy level. Must wear closed shoes and expect some rocky terrain due to the proximity to the streams.

Our time in nature will conclude with a tea ceremony followed by a nature based craft led by Tanja, the Lady of the Bayou.
